Our Founder


Josh has over two-decades experience guiding entrepreneurs and families as a CFP® fiduciary financial advisor; Tenured Professor of Personal Finance and Entrepreneurship; business consultant; and founder of Purposeful Finance, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

Josh teaches Personal Finance and Entrepreneurship courses as a Tenured Professor at El Camino College in Los Angeles. He has written personal finance and entrepreneurship curriculum that has been adopted by multiple community colleges and has been accepted by the CSU Chancellors Office as meeting general education math requirements for all Cal State Universities.

He has been quoted in articles in dozens of media including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Consumer Reports, CNBC and more. And he was ranked the #1 financial advisor nationally by Investopedia’s Advisor Insights* two years in a row (until they discontinued Advisor Insights).
